Rua Augusta

Rua Augusta is the main street of Baixa Pombalina, linking Terreiro do Paço and Rossio square.

It is a long pedestrian street, with many different shops, restaurants and also street artists and sellers.
Here you can find everything, not forgetting the traditional flower sellers and hot chestnut sellers.

The street is filled with street cafés with most pleasant esplanades and is one good example of the pombaline architecture, since its buildings are well preserved.
